“As an artist, I have the need to constantly explore and evolve in all aspects of my life and my creative process. This sense of evolution is visually represented in my work through the use of color, line, geometric shapes, repetition, and space.
A carefully choreographed optical illusion of color in motion manipulates the perception between the eye and the brain generating a sensation of movement and vibration as the viewer moves across the work making them an essential part of the experience.
My work draws its bold sense of individualism and vivid use of color from the rich cultural experiences I’ve had throughout my life. I was born to Lebanese parents, raised in Caracas-Venezuela, and have lived in the US since the age of 15. These cultures are steeped in traditions that have influenced my perspective and approach to my art in an abstract contemporary style.”

BIO
Born September 22, 1979, in Caracas Venezuela, of Lebanese descent. At a young age, I knew I had a deep interest in drawing and painting. At age 15, I moved to Dallas, TX to pursue a soccer scholarship while continuing my High School education taking all the art classes possible. After graduating from High School, knowing that soccer was not going to be my career, I attended the School of Visual Arts at the University of North Texas where I received a BFA in Communication Design while taking a variety of fine art classes. After graduating in 2003, I’ve had a career in Design and Art Direction working for different companies while also pursuing my passion for fine art, showcasing my work in galleries, and creating custom commissioned pieces for a variety of clients.
